Waterborne polyurethane: A promising antifouling coating

The paint industry has for sometime been looking at alternatives to tin-containing coatings. Among all the possible non-toxic alternatives, the one most promising technology is a non-stick foul release coating. This paper investigates the use of WBPUs as antifouling coatings.
