There is a drive to reduce the VOC content of decorative and industrial coatings through the new Directive 2004/42/CE.High solids coatings have distinct advantages for applicators over the competing technologies,since with minimum investment the chemistry,application and curing methodology,and film performance are very similar to the lower solids products.
