摘要

Self-assembly of colloids at liquid-liquid interfaces has been well-documented.Recently,there has been increasing interest in using this self-assembly technique to form functional superstructures,such as emulsions,microcapsules,particles,and colloidal crystals.One of the most important applications of this method is to fabricate microcapsules known as colloidosomes,whose shells are composed of coagulated or fused colloid particles.Based on this technique,novel colloidosomes with gel cores and shells consisting of coagulated or partially fused colloid particles were produced using a templat-ing water-in-oil emulsion and subsequent gelation of the aqueous core.
