This edition of the Year Book of Ophthalmology contains articles that are timely for cataract surgery which span a number of areas. Each year areas of interest covered include new procedures and techniques, postoperative management and complications, advances in intraocular lens implants (IOL), machine technologies, and socioeconomic concerns.
