Reuse and Recirculation Technology in Chile

The Chilean salmon industry is beginning to introduce new technology into fish cultivation to both improve efficiency and meet new environmental regulations. Several factors are pushing salmon companies to become more efficient. These include new environmental regulations that protect natural waters from pollution, control the spread of fish diseases, terminate lake concessions, and reduce water usage.
