The study was carried out in Gobardhanpur village of Muzaffarpur district of Bihar state to investigate the feasibility of introducing Janta Water Filter in rural homes through action research. Majority of respondents perceived Janta Water Filter as afeasible technology. Age and educational status of families were found positively and significantly correlated with knowledge, whereas age was negatively significant with overall feasibility. Education of respondents was positively and significantly correlated with feasibility, future acceptability, value orientation, motivation and overall feasibility. Constraints faced were economic followed by situational, time, technological, social and special constraints.
