CHARACTERISTICS OFCOALBED METHANE SEEPAGE INTO MULT1BRANCH WELLS

摘要

Coalbed methane refers to the gas absorbed in the coal matrix. We show the advantages of coalbed methane extraction by drilling multibranch horizontal wells compared with drilling vertical wells. We study the characteristics of methane seepage into multilateral wells. Theoretical principles are formulated for designing a coalbed development program and predicting the methane extraction dynamics.
