Rosneft discloses further TNK-BP acquisition details.

The Russian state-owned oil company has provided more detailed funding information regarding its combined $45.IB acquisition of two 50% stakes in TNK-BP, the third largest oil producer in Russia, to be purchased in separate transactions with BP and Russian group Alfa-Access-Renova (AAR). To purchase the facility, Rosneft will use its own funds, as well as cash resources from TNK-BP, together totaling $15B as of Sept. 30, along with $30B from international banks that have agreed to a commitment including long-term financing of $7.5B. The company also cited debt securities proceeds as a funding source.
