According to the US Energy Information Administration (EIA), the national average retail price for regular gasoline was $3.132/gal on Feb. 7, a 3.1φ/gal increase from the Jan. 31 price. Houston, Texas' $2.94/gal was the lowest price for gasoline, while San Francisco, California's $3.419/gal was the highest. RFG's national average setded at $3.211/gal-a rise of 2.5φ/gal on the week.
