Rosneft to build new pipeline alongside refinery modernization.

The Russian state oil company announced on Nov. 30 its intention to construct a pipeline branching off the Eastern Siberia-Pacific Ocean (ESPO) pipeline, to run from the port of De-Kastri to Rosneft's 8MM-mt/y (160.7K-b/d) Komsomolsk refinery. Pipeline construction will coincide with a 118.5B RUB ($3.9B) refinery modernization project slated for completion in H2 2015, which will see the installation of a 2.05MM-mt/y (42.2K-b/d) hydrocracker and 1.6MM-mt/y (32.9K-b/d) diesel hydrotreating unit.
