Total-led Yemen LNG (YLNG) has come through the past year's turmoil in Yemen almost unscathed. Over 100,000 barrels per day of the country's 250,000 b/d of oil output has been off line for nine of the last 12 months, but the 6.7 million ton per year LNG export plant at Balhaf has operated without a major hitch — bar a two-week closure in October after a bomb attack on a gas pipeline — wrapping up 2011 with full delivery of its 106 committed cargoes (WGI Oct.19'11).
