Kuwait's associated gas production has increased to about 1.2 billion cubic feet per day as a result of a sustained rise in oil output, but the country still expects to import up to 47 cargoes this year under contracts with Royal Dutch Shell and trader Vitol, as earlier forecast (WGI Apr.13'11,p3).
