With Australia's coalbed-methane to LNG (CBM-LNG) sector already well picked over by companies including Royal Dutch Shell and ConocoPhillips, their global gas competitors BP, Exxon Mobil and now Total are placing their CBM bets on Indonesia - many with the aim of augmenting diminishing feedgas supply to the country's huge Bontang liquefaction plant.
