Greens Claim Victory In Fight To Keep LNG Out Of California

A coalition of green groups has declared victory in attempts to stop LNG from gaining a foothold on the US West Coast — thanks in no small part to continuing enlargement in transit capacity for unconventional and other Rocky Mountain gas to reach California. But the more immediate cause for their cries of victory were projections from federal and California energy agencies that show a decline in gas demand in the region.
