US LNG receiving terminal developer Cheniere Energy has been selected as the company that made the greatest contribution to the development of the LNG industry in 2005,in a confidential peer selection process administered by World Gas Intelligence and gas conference organizer CWC Associates."The LNG Award" for 2005 - the first of its kind - is to be presented to Cheniere by WGI and CWC at a gala awards dinner on the first day of CWC's World LNG Summit in Rome Nov.30-Dec.1.Chairman and Chief Executive Charif Souki is expected to accept the award for Cheniere.
