Grain storage and handling projects

2011 is shaping up to be a good year for the installation of new grain storage facilities and the expansion of existing ones worldwide. In a recent survey, World Grain asked grain storage and handling equipment suppliers to assess demand for their products and the overwhelming sentiment was that business was thriving in virtually every part of the globe. The Black Sea Region, Asia, the Middle East, the United States, Europe and South America were all mentioned as regions that are very active with grain storage expansion projects, with silos going up at inland grain terminals, port terminals, flour mills, feed mills and even biofuels plants in some countries.
