Although estimates for the cost of the proposed Nabucco pipeline from Turkey to Austria have jumped by nearly 60% to euro 7.9 billion(12.3 billion),the consortium backing the line expects to conduct a nonbind-ing"market sounding"this month prior to launching an open season for booking initial capacity in the system,Reinhard Mitschek,managing director of the six-company consortium said last week.
