Leading global fertilizer manufacturer Yara has announced major changes in how it pays for feed gas in mainland Europe that indicate movement away from oil-price linkage.Such movement may well be more widespread.The Norway-based concern has increased its exposure to spot gas prices,such as at the Belgian Zeebrugge hub,on the expectation that oil prices will remain higher than European gas prices (map,p7).
