The new flood of gas from Reliance Industries' eastern offshore Krishna Godavari D6 field has had a sobering effect on India's spot LNG purchasing. Just one spot cargo has arrived per month since Reliance's output touched 60 million cubic meters (2.1 billion cubic feet) per day two months ago (WGI Jan.13,p4).
