US Industrial Demand For Power, Gas, Coal Still Down Sharply

Are the so-called "green shoots" some economists claim to see as indicators of an end to the recession in the US the first signs of a blossoming marketplace or are they merely another crop of weeds? While the debate goes on, one thing is certain: if the US economy is recovering, it's doing so without any pickup as yet in industrial demand for basic energy commodities such as natural gas, coal and electricity.
