Northeast Asian spot prices inched up a further 200 to $10.10 per million Btu this week, again thanks to forecasts of colder weather, according,to WGI assessments for LNG cargoes for delivery four ' to eight weeks ahead. Prices in Southwest Europe were assessed 100 lower at S9.10. The UK National Balancing Point (NBP) day-ahead price assessed by WGIfell 40 to $8.40, while January NBP futures dropped 160 to $8.39. Netbacks for Mideast sellers were $1 higher on Asian than Southwest Europe deliveries, while UK-Belgian netbacks for Mideast sellers lagged Asia by about $ 1.80.
