In US, LNG Becomes Weather-Responsive

In a departure from previous years, this winter has witnessed a strong correlation between cold weather and high send-outs from US LNG receiving terminals. This resulted in large part from flexible use of LNG stored at US Northeast regas facilities, although cargo arrivals also jumped, suggesting some unusually quick off-the-mark LNG trading, as well.
