Prices in Northeast Asia eased 300/MMBtu to settle at $15.80/ MMBtu, according to WGI assessments for LNG cargoes for delivery four to eight weeks ahead, while prices in Southwest Europe edgeddown 100 to $12.60. The UK National Balancing Point (NBP) day-ahead price, assessed by WGI, fell by 540 to $9.04, while April NBP futures plunged 650 lower to $9.03. Netbacks for Mideast sellers were about $3 higher on Asian than Southwest Europe LNG deliveries, while UK-Belgian netbacks for Mideast sellers lagged Asia by more than $7/MMBtu.
