Libya May Halt Gas Exports

Libya has raised the possibility of halting natural gas exports to Italy and instead using the gas at home, Oil Minister Abdulbari al-Arusi tells WG1. He said his ministry's plan would be to buy the gas from Italy's Eni, now the sole importer of Libyan gas. "The Italian side is complaining about the cost so maybe we will buy it [and] instead of exporting, use it locally," he said.
