摘要

Bolivia is gearing up to boost natural gas exports to Brazil, its biggest customer, to help with power generation as drought-hit Brazil works to keep the lights on both ahead of and during the World Cup soccer tournament, which opens in June. YPFB, Bolivia's state gas company, announced this month that it had agreed to supply Brazil's state-controlled Petrobras with an additional 2.24 million cubic meters per day (79 million cubic feet per day, or 817 million cubic meters per year) of gas to fuel a 480 megawatt power plant in Cuiaba, near the border.
