Prices in Northeast Asia nosedived $ 1.20 to $ 18.20/MMBtu as most buyers have met April requirements and dropped 90￠ to $14/MMBtu in Southwest Europe, according to WGI assessments for LNG cargoes for delivery four to eight weeks ahead The UK National Balancing Point (NBP) day-ahead price, assessed by WGI, jumped 82￠ to S10.20, while April NBP futures leapt 85￠ to $10.29. Netbacks for Mideast sellers were some $4 higher on Asian than Southwest Europe LNG deliveries, while UK-Belgian netbacks for Mideast sellers lagged Asia by around $8.75/MMBtu.
