The impact of US LNG exports on global gas markets and prices will likely be a major topic at the second LNG producer-consumer conference being held in Tokyo on Sep. 10. Up to 700 participants are expected to attend, including ministerial level representatives from LNG producing and consuming countries, heads of international organizations, and executives from gas producing companies, electric and gas utilities, gas traders, banks, and other public and private companies, according to Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, which is holding the conference with the Asia Pacific Energy Research Center.
