UK gas prices hit five-year highs on Mar. 4 as a result of outages at a Norwegian export terminal and UK North Sea fields, and ongoing concerns over low UK gas inventories. But the supply situation was more settled elsewhere in Europe, including Italy, which has been without Libyan gas flows since the weekend (p4).
