Prices in Northeast Asia rose for the third week running, increasing 150 to $15.70 per million Btu, as buyers seeking November cargoes largely held off until they get a clearer picture of Pacific Basin supply, and in Southwest Europe edged up for the first time in two months, increasing 100 to SI 1.60, according to WG1 assessments for LNG cargoes for delivery four to eight weeks ahead. The UK National Balancing Point (NBP) day-ahead price as assessed by WGI dropped 130 to $10.51, while October NBP futures fell 60 to $10.50. Netbacks for Mideast sellers were about $4 higher on Asian than Southwest Europe LNG deliveries, while UK-Belgian netbacks for Mideast sellers lagged Asia by roughly S6.
