Underscoring the potential for US hub-linked LNG to alter Asian price dynamics, India's Petronet LNG is considering renegotiating the oil-indexed price of a long-term deal with Exxon Mobil for Australian LNG. Petronet signed a 20-year agreement in August 2009 for 1.44 million tons/yr of Gorgon LNG, with f.o.b. prices linked to the Japanese Crude Cocktail with a slope of 14%-15%.
