"Energy for All" was a central plank of the International Energy Agency's (IEA) 2011 World Energy Outlook, which highlighted how one in five of the world's population lacks access to electricity and four in 10 lack clean cooking facilities. Two years on, little has changed: 1.2 billion people are still without electricity and 2.8 billion don't have clean cooking facilities.
