Shale Boom Spawns Gas 'Refining' Business

It might not be as sophisticated as the US oil refining industry, and is certainly nowhere near as big, but the US natural gas processing business is evolving its own "refining" sector, courtesy of the shale gas boom that has already seen gas-intensive industries like petrochemicals lured back to the country.
