THE Jinya Gold Deposit in Guangxi is a large fine disseminated gold deposit. The Middle Triassic ore-bearing Baifeng Formation is a set of tur-bidite. It consists mainly of organic argillaceous and silty sediments. Ore bodies are strictly controlled by fracture zones in the Baifeng Formation. Comparative investigations of organic geochemistry on both ore bodies and country rocks were conducted in this study.
