Icelandic fisheries still going strong

With the Icelandic Fisheries Exhibition 2008 fast approaching, World Fishing spoke to business manager, Marianne Rasmussen-CouHing.to find out why the show has become a reference for the fishing industry. Marianne Rasmussen-Coulling: Following the 2005 event it became apparent that a large number of exhibitors wanted the exhibition to run over three days. Also, by moving the event to October the hotels would be charging winter rates, which would result in significant savings - on average 25%. A survey was conducted with our exhibitors and a clear majority voted for a three day event running from Thursday to Saturday in the early part of October.
