Farmers are being forced to re-design and modify their own farm machinery to meet their needs. A growing dissatisfaction with after-sales service and the cost of machinery is discouraging Australian farmers from investing in new equipment. It also seems that farmers are frequently dissatisfied with their new machinery as it does not meet their needs so they are inventing pieces to suit themselves.
