Knowing how to handle fields with little to no crop is key after damaging weather. WITH abnormally warm weather early on, followed by a staggering cold streak, fits of hail, and other climate anomalies, this growing season has been anything but typical. Little could have been done to protect crops from the effects of Mother Nature's moodiness, so perhaps it is better that growers look to the future, to see what they can do now to save what is marketable, heal tree damage, and make the best of what could be described as a less than ideal beginning to the growing season.
