Bridging the gap: WA'99: aquaculture down under

In keeping with a commitment to expand and promote global perspectives, the World Aquaculture Society held its 1999 meeting in Sydney, Australia. The theme was "Bridging the Gap," and delegates met to hear and debate how aquaculture must meet the shortfall in supply from capture fisheries to cater for expanding global demand.
