During only one other time since 1991 has there been as much working natural gas in storage as the 1.674 Tcf recorded on April 3,according to the Energy Information Administration's (EIA) April 2009 Short-Term Energy Outlook. Levels are now 26% higher than this time last year, and 18.5% over the five-year average. There is a real possibility of inventories rising to new record-high levels by the end of the summer injection season.
