For a company that has made its name primarily in the Western Australian Goldfields region, Force Equipment Service and Hire went along way to win its first Case Earth Award - carrying out works to overcome erosion at a popular Indian Ocean beach 50km north of Perth. The coastal protection works carried out For the City of Wanneroo by Force to stop erosion that was threatening facilities and private homes at Quinns Beach were judged the outstanding construction excellence project up to 2 million dollars in value. The works involved the construction of two limestone groynes and the renourishment of some 600m of the beach.
