Hitachi and Timberjack join forces

Hitachi Construction Machinery is claiming the number one position in the supply of forestry equipment in Australia with its appointment as sole distributor of the popular Timberjack range. The appointment took effect on November 1. Part of the worldwide John Deere Construction and Forestry Division, Timberjack produces the most extensive range of skidders, forwarders, loaders and harvesters on the market and has invested heavily in the application of computer technology to the forestry industry with a series of IT-based machine control systems and specifically designed attachment measuring and optimisation programs.
