The tragic events of the last few weeks involving truck crashes once again remind us of the dangers drivers in our industry encounter every day they are on the road. Many of us often wonder how many more crashes could have occurred if it had not been for the skill of the driver of the heavy vehicle. What is most disappointing however is the way these crashes are reported by the mainstream media and how little they know about what really goes on out on the road. Most are unaware of the true facts surrounding crashes involving heavy vehicles.
