A Geraldton engineering firm has developed its own skid steer attachment for small grading applications in response to a client's dissatisfaction with the existing products on the market. Maicon Engineering took the initiative to come up with a winning skid steer grader design after listening to the grievances of Geraldton City Council employees. They said the grader attachments available were either too costly, too overbuilt and unnecessarily complicated to operate, too simple in their construction or impossible to keep level because they had a single casting wheel running on the windrow.
