WA plans 850M dollars power program

AN 850 million dollars strategy endorsed by the Western Australian Cabinet to modernise and expand electricity generation in Perth and the south-west of the state will include the construction of three new power stations, on top of the Cockburn 1 station now under construction, by 2007.Private sector energy companies will be invited to bid for the funding and construction of the new stations.
