A small Western Australian firm is challenging the big names of the global directional drilling industry with its own range of lightweight and compact micro tunnelling machines. No Dig Equipment has bucked the world trend by creating a machine with high thrust power and the flexibility to be used in confined and limited access situations.The machines, developed over the last five years by a team headed by No Dig director Craig Riley, are making the advantages of micro tunnelling available for operations where the overseas-developed machines that dominated the market would be too expensive or too cumbersome.
