Rogers Induflex and Prymetall to partner on cable product line

Rogers Induflex N.V., Gent, Belgium, and Prymetall GmbH & Co. KG, Stolberg, Germany, announced that they have entered into a long-term agreement to work together as partners in the development of an advanced cable shielding product line. A press release said that Prymetall will supply copper strips to Rogers Induflex N.V. to be laminated and slit into tapes. The new materials, designated as the LG 5000 series of copolymer coated copper laminates, are now available for use in medium and high voltage energy, fiber-optic and telecom cable applications.
