Delphi Automotive Systems announced that it will sell its global Liteflex composite spring business as well as its operations in Ande, France, while its Delphi Packard Electric Systems division reported that it has made some permanent job cuts.The proposed Liteflex sale, the company said in a press release, would include all of Delphi 's U.S. composite sprig business assets in Dayton, Ohio, including all tools, inventory, equipment and a dedicated facility in Dayton. The 15 hourly and 5 salaried employees that are dedicated to the composite spring business line will be reassigned within Delphi, it noted.
