Norco's Ball Reverser~TM was designed, it said, to simplify winding and reel loading for hose and cable without operator assistance. The device moves the level rewind assembly one hose pitch length for every rotation of the drum to facilitate a neat, automatic rewind application, a company release said. The level rewind assembly has a four-way roller guide mounted on a ball reverser actuator to provide automatic reciprocating action, feeding hose or cable onto the reel without overlaying or jamming the product. The wear resistant reverser features a hardened bearing steel cage and sleeve, and a plated, corrosive resistant finish to meet high load capacities.
