Road show Workshop to make first stop at Wire Expo

The Road Show Workshop series, designed to take the same one-day program to various locations across North America, is set to make its first stop ever at a WAI trade show and convention. The "Practical Extrusion" workshop will coincide with Wire Expo 2006 at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston on Wednesday, May 24. The all-day course will explore practical aspects of extrusion. Taught by industry expert Thomas Black, it will cover the fundamentals of extrusion processing, including how to select extrusion parameters such as zone settings and screw speed for desired insulation properties and production rates, as well as methods for calculating extrusion efficiency.
