Modern water miscible coolant lubricants offer a broad variety of different systems like emulsions and solutions to fulfill a big variety of technical demands from the drawing bench. In recent years much effort has been made to formulate high sophisticated systems for all fields of application - from bare copper to many other materials. Water miscible wiredrawing lubricants now have reached such a high level of technical performance that they should be considered not just a lubricant but a decisive part of a successful wiredrawing operation.
