The Clinton Instrument Company has introduced HF-CAL, a portable, user-friendly calibration system designed to quickly and easily check the output voltage of 3kHz spark testers. The HF-CAL system provides immediate spot checks for voltage calibration, detection function and sensitivity to factory standards. The unit is a cost-effective alternative to professional calibration services that reduces down time and lengthy, in-house personnel procedures, the company said, adding that the system reduces troubleshooting and ensures operational circuitry. The self-contained system does not require any additional tools, improves product quality and maintains consistent test records for spark testers, it noted.
